Dutch Golfballs
In cooperation with artist Henry van de Horst, Kees Jan Kuiper, pro golf shop proprietor at Leusden’s golf course De Hoge Klei, launched a unique collection of golf balls. The entire collection consists of 12 golf balls, each with a different type of delft blue windmill. At this moment, the first series of three balls is in circulation. The golf shop proprietor wrote: “when I think of Holland, I see traditional Dutch wind mills on international greens” as a variation on the first two famous lines written by poet Marsman: “when I think of Holland, I see wide rivers slowly winding about infinite lowlands…”.

Because the Dutch windmill and delft blue are extremely popular abroad, it was easy to link this to special golf balls. The result is a gift suitable for every (business) traveler who wants to give his fellow golfer or business relation something typically Dutch.
This collector’s item comes in sleeves and per dozen with a brief English description of the windmills. Because of the name and the excellent quality, the Nassau Plus was the golf ball that was opted for. At the moment, two series of three golf balls are in circulation. Each quarter a new series of three will be launched. If so desired, company name and logo can be imprinted on the golf balls. Further information and how to order: www.dutchgolfballs.com
