The 7th Kitzbühel Golf Festival takes place from 22th - 27th June 2009. The prestigious festival is considered one of the most exciting weeks in the European golf calendar. It is therefore no surprise that celebrity sports stars such as Andreas Goldberger and Christoph Langen never miss an opportunity to indulge in their favourite pastime at the Kitzbühel Golf Festival.

Beautiful golf courses

In addition to the world famous Hahnenkamm “Streif“ piste, the Kitzbühel Golf Festival also offers visitors an opportunity to play on four of the most beautiful golf courses in Alps: Eichenheim Golf Club, Schwarz¬see Golf Club, Kitzbühel Kaps Golf Club and Rasmushof Golf Club. The gourmet tournament promises twice the golfing pleasure, as each participant can savour one of a total of nine courses of a scrumptious Tyrolean menu after each tee shot.

Breathtaking nature

All classic tournaments follow the Stableford rulebook and commence in the early morning – this leaves enough time to explore Kitzbühel’s historic old town and the region’s breathtaking nature and alpine surroundings. The overall winner of the Kitzbühel Golf Festival is the player with the best total score over at least three Stableford tournaments. Your unforgettable week of golf will be rounded off with three fabulous parties at the golf clubs, the participating hotels and at the Alpenhaus tavern on the summit of the Kitzbüheler Horn.
